Update from our club president Ron Matusek, WA6TQH:
After nearly a year of mandating lockdowns and closures in the state, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott lifted COVID-19 restrictions, effectively opening all businesses and abolishing the statewide mask mandate by March 10. Depending on the alert levels in Harris County, NARS may be able resume our monthly meetings in person at the Klein Fire Department Admin Building, our normal location.
This should not be interpreted to mean that all requirements to wear masks and social distance no longer apply. The governor made it clear that if the infection levels go back up, the state restrictions will be reinstated. He also stated that it is up to the facility or business to set their own rules and requirements. As users of the facility and customers of the business, we are required to comply with those rules.

IMPORTANT: NARS continues to encourage responsible behavior, social distancing, and the use of masks.
When license testing is available, we will announce it here and on the reflector. Please visit our testing information page for current requirements and guidelines. Thanks for being considerate.
We are planning to have the May meeting in person at the Klein Fire Department Station 3 in the training building. ZOOM will also be available, but we encourage in-person attendance if possible. Health guidelines - masks and social distancing - will be in effect. Our continued access to this excellent facility is completely dependent on how well we comply with their requirements.
